The RICS Home Buyer's Survey is based on a full inspection but the report is intended as an economy package and therefore is briefer and easier to read than the Building Survey. |
The report is set in the context of the age and type of building and it will give you factual information concerning the building's construction. |
Significant defects and urgent wants of repair will be reported but minor items of disrepair which in the Surveyor's view would not normally affect value will not included. |
This report includes a re-instatement estimate, which is useful when you come to insure the property. |
The report particularly lends itself to modern property and to simpler older style houses including for instance Victorian terraced or smaller semi-detached houses. |
It is carried out under Terms of Engagement which are set out by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. |
Use Copperfields for your surveying and stay in control.
